PeekMed®, founded and headquartered in Braga Portugal, is a global Medtech company operating in the medical imaging field. By developing, producing, and marketing a medical software technology to support the medical decision, it aims to provide more predictable patient treatments, currently focusing on orthopedic surgery. PeekMed® is an AI-based pre-operative planning system for orthopedics, designed to help improve patient’s outcomes while reducing the overall cost of healthcare.
We are looking for an experienced Backend developer to join our IT team. You will be responsible for the server side of our web applications.
Perfil do Candidato
If you have excellent programming skills and a passion for developing applications or improving existing ones, we would like to meet you. As a Back-end developer, you’ll work closely with our engineers to ensure system consistency and improve user experience.
Ultimately, you should be able to develop and maintain functional, scalable and stable web applications to meet our company’s needs.
Competências necessárias:
Apply to our position if you have:
- 2 years of professional experience;
- A good knowledge of Javascript/Typescript and some backend framework, like Express or Koa;
- Experience with NodeJS;
- knowledge of NoSQL (such as MongoDB), MySQL or other relational databases;
- Familiarity with Computer Graphics, Image analysis and processing and computer vision (a plus);
- Ownership and responsibility;
- Capacity for collaboration and good communication;
- Team spirit.
