DISPLAX, a world leader in the manufacture of Ultra Large Touchscreens, TV size, is looking to expand it´s team. Integrated into the R&D, to work in its HQ in Braga-Portugal.

We enable better education with Interactive WhiteBoards in schools, more interactive collaboration in Meetings and exciting self-service touch kiosks in Public areas.
Perfil do Candidato
Responsibilities:
- Create new web applications integrated in DISPLAX products support infrastructure and portals, using PHP and Javascript (such as NodeJS, AngularJS or ReactJS).
- Maintain existing applications and web services built using Javascript and PHP-based frameworks.
- Work with visual designers to create a functional product from a graphical prototype.
- Join DISPLAX R&D team, have passion to learn about interactive systems and multitouch technologies, and contribute to increase the team's skills and knowledge.
Competências necessárias:
Key Qualifications:
- Have joy working in frontend and/or backend development
- Confidence and essential knowledge to develop database driven applications, using database engines like MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Have no trouble working with Linux Desktop environments
The successful candidate should possess the following core competencies:
- PHP and JavaScript using frameworks like AngularJS, ReactJS, or AngularJS
- Database (like MySQL, PostgreSQL) creation, management and data manipulation
Additional Desirable Skill Areas Include:
- version control systems (Git)
- Knowledge of responsive web design
- Organized and detail oriented
- Self-motivated
- Good communication skills
- Works well in a team environment
